The Library is the best men's clothing store there - small but a perfect selection. Just remember the prices are in pounds :-)

When we were there nearly four years ago, we stayed in Little Venice, part of Maida Vale. Take the Bakerloo line up to Warwick Ave. Aside from really charming and interestingly painted barges along the sides of the canals and some gorgeous Edwardian architecture, there's a fascinating pub called the Prince Albert. Around a long U-shaped bar are compartments divided by lovely etched glass and carved wood partitions, with 3-foot high doors between. People of different classes would come to this pub back in the day, and the servers would have to kowtow thru the low doors to serve the upper crust in the compartments. On the opposite side, it's open for all the proles. Check it out!

The adjacent restaurant, the Formosa Dining Room, I remember being quite good as well, and there are a couple other shops and restaurants on this little strip. A great taste of London off the main tourist track.
