Dine Downtown Palo Alto is Back
It’s hard to believe it was a year ago that I first wrote about Dine Downtown Palo Alto. It’s back this year, again with special menus at participating restaurants on Monday nights in August. I wish I were more enthused, but frankly, the Palo Alto restaurant scene has been a bit lack-luster recently. Perhaps this will be my excuse to finally revisit Osteria and Mantra.

I’m glad to see Dine Downtown back, but DTPA is seriously lacking in good eats, including Osteria. We tried it twice and both times I can say I’d rather eat @ Pasta … which just isn’t that good.

Sadly, I don’t generally disagree Vince, though I do think downtown Palo Alto has better than Past?. But OK, maybe Osteria needn’t be high on the list. At least the Three Seasons Dine Downtown menu sounds decent, and is definitely a deal compared to their regular prices. Zibbibo and Nola’s are reasonably safe bets as well.
