Hi Olivia,
Thanks for the comment and stopping by my blog. When I was in Seattle I could get great porcini at the farmers markets and at whole foods but in Italy they are a legend and a real treasure. In the US not many people know what to do with them. We eat them simply with tarrjin, a pasta of Piemonte made with only egg yolks, very rich but not overpowering. Yummy.
